From GYST Fermentation Bar to Gist Wine Shop

GYST Fermentation Bar opened as a bar/café in November of 2014 in the Eat Street neighborhood of Minneapolis. There, we celebrated the benefits and tastes of naturally fermented foods, wines and other beverages, while creating a community around it.

From 2019 -2021, life happened in many different ways and we found ourselves back in the hometown we grew up. Today, we are excited to be back as a retail wine shop with a focus on natural fermentation in downtown Sioux Falls, SD.
